Account Manager- Logistics

Our client is a privately held third party logistics provider for the past 50 years. They are currently seeking an Account Manager to join their team in Southern NJ. As an Account Manager you will help customers optimize their supply chain.


• Build and grow relationships with key decision makers with shipping needs
• Use negotiation and sales strategies during pricing and selling discussions with the customer
• Uncover opportunities and sell transportation service offerings
• Understand logistics industry market trends, competition, and pricing that may have an impact on your customers
• Conduct customer reviews to stay informed on industry changes
• Deliver outstanding customer experience through strong communication
• Build trusting relationships with teams across the company


At least 2 years of experience in sales or operations for a freight broker or carrier
College degree preferred or equivalent experience in a brokerage or carrier setting
Understanding of multiple modes of over the road transportation including FTL/LTL, Intermodal, Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed
