The Intermodal Logistics Coordinator assists in the day-to-day freight management of shipments for assigned shipping accounts.
This position has a wide range of transportation related duties including operations, accounting, and customer service.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Shipment tracking and tracing ,managed the delivery of containers from Europe into the all USA ports. • Communicate pro-actively with customers, informing them of any and all delays as well as solutions to mitigate those delays. • Maintain and update daily tracking report for key clients. • Order Entries • Follow up on delivery orders • Provide excellent customer service to ensure their experience is pleasant and without issue • Carrier communication • Ensure billing and required documents are obtained and customer invoicing requirements are met • Perform additional administrative tasks as requested • Secure POD and communicate to customer . • Dispatched containers to various carriers after comparing rates to find the best cost/savings for each
• Minimum of High School Diploma • Strong organization, communication, and time management skills • Possess basic PC skills- Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment • Some third party logistics or brokerage experience • Effective customer service skills
