Our client is a growing non asset based third party logistics provider seeking a Sales Executive to join their team.
This position requires some freight sales experience, customer spot pricing, carrier price negotiation, and operational experience in the logistics industry.
- Solicit freight
- Spot pricing
- Sustained customer relationships
- Carrier price negotiations
- Manage both broker and customer service aspects of assigned shipments
- Communicate with customers and carriers
- 2 years of freight brokerage experience preferred (over the road- FTL/LTL)
- New business development successes
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic PC skills- Microsoft Excel, Word
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
